Had this poem published a few years ago in a poetry mag called 'Peace and Freedom'

With magical words
you tell hypnotic tales
of love and life
and fun and pain
You appear, laden with
memories of bygone days
and fables filled with fun
With bizarre anecdotes
to enthrall my ears
which make me want
to hear more

You weave your words
into wondrous webs
full of magnetism and mystery
You tell sagas
of humour and misery
and personal history

You tease, entice, provoke and delight
and revel in reminiscent glory
Your face glows, your eyes are alight
whilst you're lost in the days of your story

Well done on the publication and it's hardly surprising it was published because this is an excellent piece of poetry. Many thanks for sharing it with us.

I enjoyed this much - (have a problem with the word "laden" because it suggests a burden, when it is in fact a boon)...but i love the last line...and the energy of the piece.

Well Done Sara
Have you had a lot of your other work published?
If not, then why not share it (some of it) with us?
