missing you

i have a love hate relationship with this poem - it'll be interesting to see if anyone else feels the same

Think of me when next you smile,

when next the leaves fall brown and grey

and hearts and passions corrode through trial -

think of me, so far away.

And think of joys that have no end,

that lose no hue with winter's sheen

but hold each heart when sad hearts hearts mend -

think of me, and all that could have been.

And when the moon shines shadows in your sleep,

and some dreams fade as some dreams will,

and you awake laundering memories in a heap -

think of me, and our time, still.

So when stars glisten and upon your cheek

seek a place in which to hide as dew,

remember that this heart is forever meek -

forever yours, forever thinking of you.

Hi, this poem is quite relevant to me at the moment. I like the intertwining with the pain of lost love - with the the changing of the season as shown by the leaves etc, the only thing I didnt like too much is the fact that it has a rhythm to begin with, which changes part way through. Apart from that I did enjoy it and understand it. :)

I love this poem. It's very good and I don't understand where your hate comes from!!!
