regret

I just cannot shake it
This feeling inside
I’ve tried to ignore it
But I’ve nowhere to hide

Did I really hurt you
In that sea of green
What I said I’m not proud of
But I was wasted, not mean

When I’m in the shower
On the tube, in my bed
My words and my actions
Skip round and round my head

Do you know how I feel
Reliving this nightmare anew
Remember you cannot hate me
As much as I do

"In that sea of green" - not sure what this means without context.

The rhymes are OK, but the syllable counts are different, so some lines jar a bit.

Oli :)
