Just a little about loss in love
Fall behind
Behind these eyes there once was love But now there’s only pain Behind these eyes there once was fire But you have dulled the flames
Behind these eyes there once was hope But now it’s slowly dying Behind these eyes there once was strength But now it has stopped trying
Behind these eyes there once was passion But now the blood runs cold Behind these eyes there once was soul But this one has been sold
Behind these eyes there once was pride But now there is a hollow Behind these eyes there once was focus But they’ve lost their path to follow
Behind these eyes there once was me But now I don’t know who that was Behind these eyes there once was life But now that life is lost
Behind these eyes there once was thoughts Of living life with you If only they had strength enough That you could see them too.
