I am bewitched by you Cecily

Heartfelt

I must  tell  all  the  world  I  love  your peachy charms

from the  hairs  of  your  head  ,  and  those  on  your  legs  an  arms

Please  now  that  my   entrancement    for  them  has  been  stated

do  not  have  them  ever  depilated

but  keep  them  so  that  I  can   make  the fondest  strokes

that will  bring   jealousy  to  lots  of  other   folks

who  cannot run  their  hands  through  them  smooth  and  silky

and  I  also  lover  your   neck  so  white  and  milky

But  you  don't  love  ME  ,  because  I  have  never  spoken

to   you  about  my  passion    my  heart  is  broken

I  should   go  down  on  and  worship  you  on  my  knees   bended

Please  please  Cecily  ,  choose me

but  if  you  refuse  me  ,

I  can  tell  you  my  life  will  be ended  .

Cecily isn't French is she? I believe the women there are, for the most part, strangers to a razor.
I really enjoyed this and particularly liked the subtle rhyming. Heartfelt but still lighthearted I think

Does Your Wife Know?

Dear Cecily, dear Cecily,
I love those rosy lips,
Your peachy charms, your hairy arms,
And the fat upon your hips.

You stretch yourself on Bondi Beach,
With your hairs and knobbly knees -
But if I declared my love for you
My wife would murder me.

Sorry Brian. I hope this doesn't degrade your poem in any way. ha ha.

Did Jane say "liked the stubble rhyming"? :grin

Is there no end to your lecherousness Brian? One would have thought that the embers would be glowing faintly by now, but apparently not.

If there is a God, please spare me these thoughts in my Autumn years!

Oli :grin

amusing - and infelicitous enough linguistically to be a contender. No offence Brian!

Now, how did I miss this, Brian?

'I lover your neck, so white and milky.' Damn, that's good. I mean bad, that is.

Okay, I see it's time for me to play hard ball. This is just getting too close!

You're all forgetting - if it's deliberately funny it can't win.
Enjoyed.

Phil.
