Not really meant to personify her character. There's just something in it that reminds me of the idea of not looking back...by the way, if you happen to be interested, find the Carol-Ann Duffy poem about her, from the anthology 'The World's Wife' - very amusing. May edit to fit the myth more...or just change the title - tell me what you think...please This time, I believe I am calmer as I look out across the mine-field that is this future. I feel potential for so many paths, it is impossible to gauge the possibilities - I will not try. I see, on my temporal landscape, a feature gone previously unnoticed, a common knowledge passed from rock to tree, still too encrypted to see, but as present as the person before me. He is calmer too, I think there is a stillness in his gaze, though not his heart, that catches so fast it's hard not to wonder what fuelled my panic, last time round. Then I was affronted - aggressive, with this poignant idea; self-preservation denied me yet another risk, another chance to prove my 'fates' wrong. The meaning in each step leaves behind insurance, even when the touch- mark fades; like his smell, left upon a pillow, which fills my head, and colours in my dreams.
