Crimson Goddess
By LilGryphMaster

An obsession poem. Crimson was her favorite color.

Thine waves of ruby hair flow freely in the crystal air
O' Crimson Goddess, how I gaze upon thee

Thine luscious lips protrude from silky lands below
O' Crimson Goddess, how my thoughts are filled of Ye

Thine eyes like pearls, thine cheeks as gold
O' Crimson Goddess, I shed a tear for thee

Thine beauty unmatched
Thine mind unique
O' Crimson Goddess, thou art all I seek

For I drown in thine sorrow; I float in thine glee

For mine eyes rest as thine rest; Mine heart beats as thine beats

Mine eyes weep as thine weep; Mine heart dies as thine dies
O' Crimson Goddess, I proclaim to thee!

Thou Art Everything to Me!

I think the use of archaic language in this poem is brilliant. It seems so much mroe powerful as an obsession poem if you do use this flowered shakespearian voice.

The fact youv'e out and out called it an obsession poem is alos brilliant, i merely say this becasue i have a friend who writes songs and will not admit the blindingly obvious in his lyrics!

good stuff

Nice job! I think I'm getting the connection between this poem and "You're Not Alone"...
