fuckface daddy

i wrote this after i read the scum manifesto by valerie solanas and daddy by sylvia plath. thanks guys x

fuckface daddy
the muck you spread
the garbage you emanate
will continue till you're dead

fuckface daddy
fed intraveneously
an alchohol and tv diet
begs to be taken seriously

fuckface daddy
premature ejaculation of a man
lies prostrate on his couch womb
and finishes another can

fuckface daddy
you attempts at authority
are nonsense in reality
your principles swallowed by your obesity

fuckface daddy
suckling his way from mummy to wife
you flaccid waste of space
do you ever wonder what's happened to your life?

This is pretty good I like it. It flows well. I particularly liked the last stanza, and the line "suckling from mummy to wife".

Thanks to your intro, I Googled and read SCUM and Daddy. As literature both are pretty poor (In my limited male opinion) especially the first. SCUM is also reads like a twisted fascist rag. Reread it and substitute 'black' or 'jew' for 'male' and you might see what I mean.

As for your poem:
It does flow quite well. To me it reads more like song lyrics than straight poetry. You've used some of the ideas from SCUM pretty well. If this were a piece about one man, I could say it was pretty effective; but by the context you've given and the references in the piece, I can only assume it is a general attack. It leaves me cold because of that.

If I'm misreading, sorry.

Phil.
