A poor tribute to Kurt Vonnegut, the greatest living American writer - until today. RIP. This is a very great poem dedicated to an American genius The world is poorer today than it was yesterday Bereft of your wit and vision Deprived of your understanding The blasts above your Dresden cell stirred imagination Illuminated humanity Fired genius You may be wrapped in Mother Night or zoomed to Tralfamadore You may be Kilgore Trout or Jesus Christ But you are with me always Kurt Vonnegut Oli 12/04/07
