Just something I read last week

There's a really rather lovely pub we go to sometimes. It serves Old Speckled Hen (a beer, not a dish alas) and Old Peculiar (a beer and not a local thank goodness) as well as 200 types of whiskey. I like it a lot.

I read the bumf on the back of their menu last time. It says that the pub has a long history of family ownership, with the current owners now being in their third generation.

I take it I am right to infer that these individuals have thus regenerated twice now?

Goodness. One would have thought such people would have tried to keep a lower profile.

I bet no-one else spotted that. I like the way you-framed that. As the post was short I'll keep the review short too
cheers
