To see you,
My heart dilates;
Caresses ribs,
It palpitates.

To feel you,
Soft skin so warm;
Blessed beacon,
Amidst my storm.

And yet I still,
Still seek a place;
Upon your heart,
To etch my face.

The piece speaks for itself. You rhyme really easily, very nice.

Hi Miss LM - I'm glad there's another rhyming poet to join us. We're a rare breed these days. I loved your poem, and agree Clo. It is gorgeously simple. I'm not sure about the title of the poem though. I always find it interesting, though, to see how different poets tackle the same subject. I wrote a poem called "She" - but it's about as different as chalk and cheese to yours. You say you are an "urban poet", but I think my "She" is much more everyday than yours, who doesn't seem to have got beyond the "being in love" stage of life. You might like to see my "She" who has run the full course:
