A warm comfy cage
By BrianRobertNeal
05 May 2007
On a Web-site far away a Poster asked if Siddie did not yearn for the Big Blue open skies.

I hadn't a clue So I asked him.

His answer? You gotta be **************. Then he calmed down and started singing.

I was born for a warm comfy cage
I was born for a warm comfy cage
Bell's were made for bashing
Millet to misbehave.
If you sent me outside
I'd end up in the grave
As  I was born for a warm
and comfortable cage.

Sorry about the scansion but he is only a Budgie.

I can see that, just like me, you have your mad/silly half hours!
Didn't enjoy it the first time that I read it, however, for the second read I adopted the Lee Marvin Gravel voice and it worked a tweet.
Sorry, I shall go now.

Regards
Steve.

I'm glad you persisted, now imagine a Budgie trying to "do Lee marvin"!

I'd posted "Budgies" might be "Mates for life" on here
and one of the reviewers said that he had expected a line
where Siddie yearned for the great blue yonder,

OK, I probably lack background knowledge, or is this a riddle?
