The Break Up

????

what have you done?
a smothering indistinctness of betrayal as perceptions darken.
once we tasted wonder,
glad-hearted and glad-hearted,
but your desire died.
a deadened cloud of agony -
emotions follow hate, follow love,
love bled dry.
in a burst of hate,
i reject you

Sorry Amory, I just can't connect with this. Clever words that say little for me. Perhaps I'm on an off night - getting very little from the poetry I've read so far.

Phil.
