quantum 8-ball
By myopic

He lives by the sweet science
only what passes him by
always to arms: the sweet compliance
recognizing the unknown for what it is(n't)
and those perspectives are always
melded into outside matter
as his mind confides reasoning as
idle chitter-chatter:
the KNOW-ALL, BE-ALL, SEE-ALL
it breaks his fall
and everyone else's
from every infinity,
probability,
probably -
with no attention to
every one of his little tensions
everybody wants to say something
but never has anything to say.

Life is a magic quantum 8-ball
encompassing every mystery
from the Bermuda triangle
to the grassy knoll
and every little fear
but don't ever look at it
or it will
disappear

To quote: 'What's poetry anyway?'

I'll happily admit I may be completely, utterly, even embarrassingly wrong; but for me, this isn't poetry. Sitting at my computer, reading the words I see, I get little from the first part and the second seems like a somewhat clever referencing to places that jog memories or emotions.

For me, clever or opaque words don't do it. It has to communicate a little more widely. Others may read this and see it from your perspective. I'd love to read a review that puts me straight.

Just my opinion.

Again, sorry to be negative.

Phil.

oh, it's fine. i appreciate the criticism and stuff. it sounds weird but it's nice to hear some negative things to keep the positive at bay.
thank you.

Sounds nice - but meant very little to me I'm afraid. Sorry.
