Florence the spider.

half way through watching the film, i noticed the spider at the top of the wall in the corner.
for the next 30 minutes i watched with intrest and this is what i wrote.

My house you would call my web,
"Spiders are horrible" the children said.

Could i ask you to sit and observe,
My legs may scare you as rthey'relong and curve.

i take hours looking around,
To a safe place above the ground.

I sit and study if this spots okay,
Wondering if you will put things in my way.

So after contemplating this for hours,
I feel as safe as houses even towers.

Now i begin to make my web,
"Have you seen that spider" people said

I reassure myself, as you cannot reach,
Don't kill spiders, i ask you to teach.

My life span isn't really that long,
Won't be long before your moving me along.

the children take me outside into the cold,
Lucky to still have my legs i was told.

A crack in the wall i come back in,
Another room where do i begin
