Tap, Tap, Tap

A "football" piece from an American! I used to juggle the ball in my backyard for hours as a youngster...

Eyes fixed upon the ball: tap, tap,

back and forth across his knees.

Down to his feet, tap, tap:

lifts it right back up with ease.

His mother watches from the window,

the only person in the stands.

But in his backyard arena,

he hears the roar of future fans.
