Seeing past me
By -jellyacey-
25 May 2007
Close your eyes and see through my face

And remember how it feels

To be able to love without seeing

And knowing what I have inside is better

But only few see past the lies

And the mask I have to wear

You can see I live a lifeless life

And being alone in despair

What’s the use of shouting out?

If no one wants to listen

What’s the use of being me?

If no one wants to care

Remember dear I love you

Because I know who you are

I know you because I wanted to

And I like you so far
