this is a thinker for sure. it seems like it could be interpreted in several ways, which to me is a sign of good writing.

Thank you for your flattery, but this was a throw-away cheap joke. If you can inerpret this in several ways, good on you. I meant it in one way, which, according to The Missus, is the only way I think.

remembering my son who at 10 thought it was funny to put his fingers in the sides of his mouth and say, "My dad's a banker." 
 
I think that's where you were, er, coming from. Yes, funny, though there's no reason why people can't also read profundity into simple statements.
