A Black Dot
By LilGryphMaster
23 March 2005
This is a very silly poem inspired by the random babblings of a 5 year old.

It's tiny and insignificant
It requires little thought
Frantically around the table it slides
Oh yes, my friend, tis a black dot!

"What's it mean?" I hear you say
I don't know, my friend, perhaps we may
Discover the meaning of this tiny black dot
Which you have so curiously inquired upon.

Let us analyze this silly black dot
And mayhaps together we shall unlock
The mystery that plagues us here today
Here in this room with the undeniably black dot

But wait! What's this I see?
This is no black dot here before me!
Tis a crumb from that chocolate chip cookie!
The one you've been holding this entire time!

You moron! You twit! You ignorant fool!
You've wasted my time for the last!
I'm done with you!

But wait!
Hold on a minute!
That's my cookie, isn't it?

In places, it seems like you're trying to rhyme (ex: "What's it mean?" I hear you say
I don't know, my friend, perhaps we may)
but then in other places, there is no rhyme whatsoever. Other than that, it's a very entertaining and enjoyable piece. :)
