Embrace
By Zuma
20 June 2007
I lay in my bed sheets, bed sheets of my memories, the existence of my pleasure and the fact that I, need you.
Your voice echoes through the walls of my mind, imprinting your touch with motionless actions.
For this... I refuse to let go.
I connect with  what I only wish for, and I beg for what I long for.
I let your name impale me like a dagger or a blade cutting and digging for answers.
Those answers that only seem to be unanswered, or yet to be answered in time.
They say patience is a virtue…and through that. I am trying.
But as today fades and as tomorrow is reborn, you still linger with in me...
Read upon what is written and take in what is real
Having this moment last forever, and your mind understanding what I dare tell you.
I whisper my secret in ways you might not see, but now, and for only now…just embrace.

I don't know if it's poetry but it has lovely texture.
with in - should that be within?

Best wishes
Steve.

I really liked it. I found it quite deep and full of thought.
