For (very) Lazy Writers. More dire verse.
If the cat fits, wear it.
Sadness ruled when the cat bit the dust.
To keep a memento was really a must.
A lazy and greedy but much loved cat,
Skinned and cured made a bloody good hat.

It is such fun to make these little verses up. I thought this was great. I feel some more snippets coming on - hope I'm not drummed out of the GW audrie | Cats Written by petetheverse (164 comments posted) 29th January 2008 | Phil, THis piece just appeared in the random listings on the left of the page, & I had to look! Dire, I think, is hardly harsh ENOUGH! But it certainly has made me smile. You are very considered in YOUR reviews; and I think that is much to be admired. Got myself in a bit of a tangle last week, unfortunately, but it was heartening to see that somewhere you had written just a few words - if not agreeing outright with my foolish and UNconsidered phrase - that there IS a paucity of 'better' writing, shall we say. But as a newcomer it is easy to be too inflammatory too soon. I hate to see the language murdered. Perhaps it is your profession that has taught you to see all the angles. There are definitely lessons to be learnt - from a teacher! Even for someone from Ramsbottom! (Well, sort of!)
