Limerence

A word I found while wandering the site.

As far as I can tell, it's a long lasting crush/obsession.

Limerence.

In a nutshell:
Madness, tailor-made for unrequited lovers.

Each day, a single thought,
Ridding your mind of all but her,
Each night, your wide-awake eyes observe
Nightmare shadows outside the curtains,

Counting seconds till dawn,
Expecting rejection every morn.

hi
not quite my thing, but thought the last two lines didn't quite fit the style of the poem,
but a good word for a poet to be aware of ! :grin
