Was also reminded of this poem I wrote entitled IAM. Not trying to get on the band wagon.

I AM the voice you choose to ignore
I AM the past you remember no more
I AM the path you refuse to explore
I AM the Creator you've walked into the floor.

BUT STILL

I AM the beauty in which you delight
I AM the future where hope is derived
I AM the peace that stills all your strife
I AM the Way, the Truth and real Life.

I really did start drawing the poets out, didn't I? And I, naturally, think you've written a lovely poem. I loved your words which leave a lot to think about. Well done! Although there is a lot of trouble in the world, I tell myself that there always has been, but there is a lot of hope for the future too, and we have some lovely little children coming into the world. They deserve to have things put right for their futures.

It's always a bed of nails reviewing religious pieces, but it is up here, so I expect you want reviews.

Nice rhythm and contrast. Like many of the ones that have gone before - more a mantra than a poem, but it does have a pleasant cadence.

I find the first verse intellectually stifling and naïve - but each to their own.

I think this gives hope . Its so true we all do take God for granted and STILL he is the beauty ,hope and delight of mankind!! What a wonderful thought . Well done Daisy!!
