UNTITLED

1999 had been one of the turning years of my life. However, on my birthday, i.e., 1st April, I was feeling very lonely because I moved from Hyderabad to Bombay. The move was really a bold step and it surely changed my life in many ways. These were the thoughts that I had to undergo on my birthday...

Dying for love
Love to die
For the sake of love.

Born out of love
To be bonded by hatred.

I – Me – Myself
Love – Hate – A fool!

The first April – My birthday!
Me – My solitude – My tears!
Together, yet all alone.

My thoughts – My feelings – My wish
Caring – Hurt – To be selfish like everyone!

My life – My family – My friends
Full of sorrows – None  – Betrayed!
WHY?

The reasons?
Unlimited!

The waiting – The expectations – The reality!
Long – Great – Heartening!

My room – My posters – My song
Empty – Staring – Without music!

My day – My time – My fate
Long – Ticking – Unsolved!

My birthday!
What a celebration?

Hopefully life's better in Bombay now? It's one of the things I'm afraid of... I d would love to go abroad some day, but what if it turns out the grass is not greener on the other side of the fence, and I get stuck over there, without my friends and family?
An interesting piece... Seems that a lot of people on this site did take such great steps... I envy their courage.
It's the same for everyone

who moves to a new place. You can feel terribly alone. Everbody else seems to be going somewhere with a sense of purpose. It's happened to me more than once, and it can be depressing. The answer is to turn things around. Tell yourself that there are people out there who need YOU. You don't have to look far to find others and, by helping them feel better about themselves, you feel better yourself by being busy and doing something useful in life. Here endeth the first lesson!
