Today, tomorrow and always.
By HardLines

Hi people. Been away for a while under doctor's orders.

Here's a new one.

Today I do not want to hear the music.

Today I need the silent place.

Today the childrens' laughter leaves me.

Today it brings me tears.

Today I do not want my friends.

Today I seek the caves and hillsides.

Today the wind is my companion.

Today I barely feel alive.

Tomorrow I may climb the mountain.

Tomorrow I may dance again.

Tomorrow I may feed the fire.

Today I cannot touch my soul.

Today I cannot reach my love.

Today I cannot find you in the dark.

Today I know I cause you pain.

Always I need you in my heart.

Oh My!

This brings back memories of long lonely nights. Quite simply stated yet beautifully evocative.

You return in triumph!!
