Apple

the sensuous side of an apple

Smooth as thighs of a Congolese
woman so tender

Round as breasts of water-
melon so soft

Juicy as lips moist
with the udara of love

My mouth springs a well
of desire

For the pulp of honey
that caresses

Hungry fires
of the tongue;

Apple, the heart is fawning witness
To your fleshy sweetness.

Never thought of an apple as sensuous. You put it across pretty well.

(are you desperate?) :grin

This is very fresh and original. Really liked 'udera of love'. This doesn't sound like those bland, tasteless things we get here in our supermarkets.

Much enjoyed,

you're talking about an apple! Not an apple I've ever tasted anyway! Liked this.

When Eve tempted Adam this is the fruit she used. Ripe with gorgeous imagery and sensual connotation. Original Sin wrapped in skin like this would seem inevitable. A juicy read.
