Latest episode of the Village:
F.C., Lydia and Markus went to see the stone circles, when they witnessed a strange cult having a mass. Just when one of the members stripped naked, sergeant Bagheera came from the bushes to arrest them.

News spreads quickly in the village, and especially when a picture of sergeant Bagheera jumping upon the naked woman appeared in the Town's Herald, the strange happening at the stone circles was the rumor of the day. No-one knew who had taken the photograph, and F.C., Markus and Lydia denied any involvement.

Fred West listened to his customers as they talked about the event.
" Imagine that. The good sergeant grabbing a naked hippie. Who would have thought that?", Tom said.
" She bewitched him, alright", claimed father Gerard, " A m'sterious place 'tis, tha' stone circle, so it is."
" She doesn't look like a witch to me. What do you think Fred? The sergeant doesn't have such a bad taste, does he?"
Fred grinned, but chose wisely not to answer, after his unpleasant experiences with the schoolteacher and the inflatable doll.

" 'Tis a witch, I tell yous. Why else would she practice such demonic arts as to undress herself at such a site? Luckily I am an expert at exorcism, so I will go to see sergeant Bagheera and take a bottle of holy water to him."
" The same holy water you drink every day, good father?"
" Don't joke about it lad. It's the dark arts I tell yous! No-one made tha' picture, so how can it be in the papers?"

'Tis a good thing I decided to do a review in a quite unknown section of this website. Strange happenings, I see! Witchcraft, nudity, good fathers drinking something they refer to as holy water and stone circles? My goodness. What a fool I've been! I've missed out on the most exciting part of this website.

Well done Fledermaus. You have certainly painted the picture well for me! I'll come again. We don't get half the fun in the poetry section. Glad I opened this little door. There's only some story about a granny grafitti artist and busker on the other side - but it's safe to come there now as she's been locked up.
I'm thinking about it ....

:grin Glad to see this had piqued your curiosity, Josie! The Village was originally the brainchild of givitsum, who suggested the writing of a "cybersoap" almost 2 YEARS ago!
We had a lot of fun for a long time, but for no real reason it fell by the wayside. I've thought several times of resurrecting it, as it was a good excuse to write the most outrageous rubbish sometimes, knowing you could post it and laugh about it with other like-minded lunatics .... :grin

Perhaps I'll start writing some little vignettes again ....

Hi Josie.
Unfortunately it's as Bagheera says: The thing more or less died. It was fun though, writing these things and not bothering too much about the literary quality. And a nice way to develop characters.
