I never met Samira, I read her obit in the Independent, it touched me, I think that I would have liked to have met Samira. Born in Algiers brought up in Seinne Denis gang raped at fourteen gang raped at sixteen died of cancer aged thirty one. Samira Bellil, Writer, Artist Youth Worker. Born. 27/11/72 Died. 09/04/04.
