It strikes me that the English dictionary ever expands, while the (acceptable) literary dictionary shrinks daily. Don't use this. Don't use THAT.
Isn't ''that'' how NewSpeak begins, with people throwing away vast chunks of the English language which they believe has no further use. That's double-plus-ungood from where I'm standin', pard.
Regardless, I'm mighty pleased y' still enjoyin' m' yarn, pard.
Must admit that I'm enjoyin' the writin' of it. Makes a pleasant chance from m' killin' off of all those religious varmints!
