Lovely - in many ways. A brave and special person.

Congratulations too - another grandchild.

Don't know how it feels to lose a child. Know how it feels to lose "sons" - having been the platoon daddy - and we always said, "What are you gonna do when you get outta I-rack, get back to Fort Living Room?" - "I'm going to Disneyland." All deaths mean something cause there's always someone to mourn them. Much obliged for the read.

Such a brave and special little girl, those three wishes that she made put tears in my eyes.

I still remember the smile of pure happiness on her face when she whispered to me that "I want to tell you a secret. Mummy's having a baby!" What makes me cry is that a week later, she died. But even on that last morning, she struggled out of bed and stood on her own two feet in defiance of what was happening. Such courage.

Thanks all...

Hi Sue, what a wonderful tribute to Naomi. I love the cheeky photo. It was heartening to read that she saw her special wishes coming true, and that she knew about her little brother. It will be lovely for him to know how much he was wanted and wished for by his sister.

Congratulations on the birth of your little boy, Ben- to you and your dear family,

Deborah xx

Oh Sue, I am so so sorry. I don't come on as often as I used to, but I just had to say something about this brave, beautiful little girl. Words are so inadequate, but I want you to know that I am thinking about you and your family xxx

Sue
Read all your posts and poems on the old site and was moved by them.
What a truly special little girl she was.
